Testimonial

“The Aurora team coordinated with the roofers, energy company, landscapers, network team, and other utility related entities that directly or indirectly impacted our solar system work. The staff are professionals, respectful, experienced, patient and are able to explain things in ways that non-solar customer can understand. They tell one what to expect, and provide a thorough timeline. When the timeline is off, the staff notified our team and kept on in the loop until the project was finished.”

President, Inclusion Services

customer's goals

Inclusion Services, an organization that provides vocational, habilitation and residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities, began to feel the squeeze of rising utility bills.  A clear option to counter that  squeeze was an option that would also deliver clean energy to their building’s operations.

aurora's solution

After understanding the customer’s needs, Aurora Energy designed a 33 kW rooftop array utilizing Silfab Prime 370Wp modules and SolarEdge inverters.  The system was mounted on Unirac’s Gridflex ballasted racking.

project results

Offsetting nearly all of the building’s electricity needs, the organization will realize a projected 141% ROI over the life of the system.  As an added bonus, the environmental benefits are equal to the carbon sequestration of 33 acres of forest annually and their use of solar will prevent 28 metric tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere annually. An organization helping a community of people is now contributing to helping a cleaner planet as well.
