The 35.84 kW system covers a portion of the facility’s rooftop while producing enough energy to offset over 90% of their needs. Mallick Mechanical was also able to take advantage of several key incentives, including the federal Income Tax Credit (ITC), MD Solar Energy Grant Program and MACRS.

A leading mechanical contractor in the Maryland-DC-Virginia region, Mallick Mechanical puts an emphasis on valuing exeptional work through a proactive, performance-driven approach. When they considered solar for their Woodbine facility, they needed an installer that could provide results.

aurora's solution

Through measuring and analyzing the facility’s roof area, Aurora Energy was able to maximize the space by designing a SunPower system utilizing SPR E-series commercial modules and inverters.

project results

The 35.84 kW system covers a portion of the facility’s rooftop while producing enough energy to offset over 90% of their needs. Through the life of the system, over 750 metric tons of carbon dioxide will be offset, while saving the company roughly $200,000 in electricity bills. Mallick Mechanical was also able to take advantage of several key incentives, including the federal Income Tax Credit (ITC), MD Solar Energy Grant Program andMACRS.
